Today, I met Amanda Seah on the mrt. She's taking early childhood now! I didn't tell her that, but I'm really glad that she looks so much happier now. I can tell she enjoys school alot more even though she said school is very busy.
She told me Mr Helmi still writes wierd comments on his students' test papers! Like 'see i told you! you can improve if you work hard!' Hahaha... still so encouraging in a lame way.

I'm 19!
For someone who has no idea which path to take for the future, birthdays are celebrated with a bit of guilt. Guilty that after 19 years, I'm still at the starting point looking at this world, wondering where and when I will fit in.
If everyone is born with a purpose, what is mine?
So birthday is a reminder that I'm a year closer to facing the reality. The fear that I was talking about. Maybe I will celebrate my birthday with true joy when I have a satisfactory answer someday.
That aside, I had a very special birthday this year! because I had many good friends for company. Besides clocking 8 hours of Karaoking in total from 2 celebrations, I had a truly unforgetable birthday on Saturday.
In the morning, Patrick surprised me at my house, and I didn't open the door cuz I thought she's the garang guni man! Hahaha... so she stood outside my house for very long with the small cake and the candle (which kept extinguishing). lol
Then we went Vivocity. Halfway, she suddenly said she need to pee. So I followed her into a corridor and saw a Derick and a shocked Gen, who exclaimed 'NOT YET NOT YET! I haven't light the candles!!'
It was an Awfully Chocolate cake! Yum yum! But they say I can't get my present yet because I have to go through obstacles to get them!
The first one was to run around a pillar ten times. That one was quite easy for me. But I attracted alot of wierd glares from uncles walking by. Then they decided I need something more challenging!
So we went to the playground outside Starbucks, where I had to sit on a rotating swing, they (Gen mostly) rotated me with all their might and ran away. I sat on the swing for forever... because I couldn't look up... then a kid shouted to me 'can I sit?', I cried 'no!' because I can't stop anyway! Until dunno when, I managed to stick one leg out and stop the swing.
Oh man... I almost puked for that one. Then I finally saw the 3 of them standing afar, laughing with glee huh, capturing the unforgetable moment on camera!
Relevant videos will be posted up shortly. Including me ordering Superdog in a man's voice and me dancing para para. Yup! Para para was quite fun! And I managed to get into stage 2! LOLZ...
We were thoroughly amused on that day. Thanks people! For going such great lengths... And thanks to everyone who celebrated my birthday or wished me happy birthday! I am really HAPPY. =D

Its the durian season! Have you guys been eating alot of durians?

look at the meat!
I sure have been eating alot! Papa picks his own durian from secret locations around Singapore and the last Sunday he took like 10 durians home!
I ate so much that I could feel the heat rising from my stomach to my brain that night. The durians are really good lar! So meaty and got '酒味'. =D

Quite random, but this is a very memorable lunch I had last week. Mama added Hokkaido mussels into her meat stew and oh man... I can't describe the taste... tasted abit like dried scallop, only stronger. After absorbing the Hokkaido mussels' taste, the sauce tasted REALLY good. Then there's other good things like pig skin, 卤蛋, and the mushroom which absorbed all the good things in the sauce! Shiok.
