I've just gotten a terrific rebonding and a dismaying haircut. Call me Mophead on Monday.
Trip to Ubin!
Tasked to do a project of building an integrated resort on Pulau Ubin, our group + Doreen set off for the island!
The relaxed smiles is not entirely what it seems. Everyone was hanging on for their dear life while taking this photo lol.

We biked through a few trails on the island. The downhills were shiok! The uphills lol... you can always get down and push your way up. At certain point of time, things got a little muddy for Patt and me. Hahaha I braked in a mud puddle and Patrick who was closely behind me got stuck ankle-deep in mud. Imagine I managed to get out of the puddle and I turn around to see her on the bike, slippers outside the puddle, ankles in the mud, immobile. You know why we laughed uncontrollably after that.
We stopped by this uncle's house for drinks. Its very difficult to describe, but the residents there really lead a very simple life. There's no electricity for example, so they generate electricity using the hand-powered generator, and they drink well water. The nice uncle recommended me a herb which is good for curing pimples. I brought a strub of it home, hopefully it grows. =)
After the visit, building an IR at Ubin became quite unthinkable to us. The peaceful island should be kept as it is. If there should be development at all, it is electricity and tap water for the residents and proper roads to link the island up. But never mind about those school stuff, we all had a great time.

Oh yea I forgot to say, the gathering with Unice, Cheryl, Matt and Muthu was fun. We played bridge and I won 7 no trump with 1 ace and no pictures. (I went toilet halfway while they were distributing the cards you see)
Muthu and Cheryl actually lost with a whole set of clubs and spade in their hand. And we spent don't know how long just laughing at it. Hahaha... Serve you two right!
There was also the army talk which only Cheryl understood. and warped army people stories which was hair raising. I killed many innocent lives by eating 8 pregnant fish at Hisshou. Sorry... Cheryl ate 1 pregnant fish too, please distribute some retribution to her.
