Hey guys! I'm back from the Outdoor Adventure Club orientation camp! Made it back in one piece! Haha...

ODAC is like a big wacky family, everyone has a warm heart (towards the end of the camp, a hot forehead too), reminds me of CS. Can't really describe it, but I received a lot of TLC from my OG mates and seniors so even though I wasn't very enthu at first, I felt included in this family. And it's like we were on Prozac and Redbull everyday, everyday is happy and high. Maybe the memory of the camp will get hazy eventually but I know when I think of the ODAC foot camp I'll remember the laughter and the company I had.
Out of the 6 day camp, about 2 days was spent in Malaysia Pelapah. That was the best part of camp in my opinion! Many things were new experiences for me, like cooking in the wild. We cooked proper food like spaghetti, German rosti, tauhu goreng and cereal prawns etc. International right? My groupmates and seniors all so talented. Only problem is I ate a lot so need to pang sai (-_-'). The female toilet down there is just this designated area marked by tapes and increasing tissue paper on the ground, so at first I wanted to bring my shit back to Singapore. But on the last day I really cannot tahan any longer so I shitted in the natural toilet.
By then I was quite constipated lar... So it took some time. Meanwhile, I was entertained by this dung beetle which was trying to ball up someone else's shit and roll it away. Quite funny cuz the poo ball is bigger than the beetle. Dunno if that beetle has moved on to my shit by now...

Trekked for the first time in my life. At first my idea of trekking was to use some branch as a walking stick then walk to the top slowly but the terrain turns out to be a lot more challenging. There were parts where we had to climb up steep walls with the help of ropes or cross rivers. But the journey felt fun and carefree more than anything else, I love the place!

Hall camp is next now, this Sunday. Rawr! And I haven't recovered from my cough yet. Don't want to go to camp as a sick person.
